What a wonderful world! That’s the second time this academic year we talk about wonders. And last time I also mentioned COVID, but this time I have a different message. This Chepos is about resilience, human resilience, and how that is portrayed in architecture. I can’t think of any better theme to fit with our experiences this year, because, through all the pain and loss we endured, we still go on.

So as the academic year comes to an end, a silver lining can be seen to all this hardship. But life after the pandemic won’t be the same as it used to be. It is up to us to write our own story, pick up the ceramic shards, a symbol of what we have learned, and build something beautiful out of it. We are making it through this, and what will come next will be marvellous, what a wonderful world!
