As an Architecture Intern at MVRDV, you’ll dive into a dynamic studio environment where bold ideas and quick thinking are part of the everyday. You’ll be guided by top international designers on projects and competitions, contributing to ambitious concepts, detailed drawings, and striking visualisations. We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) architect intern to join us on-site (at the office 5 days a week) from the 1st of September 2025 to the 28th of February 2026 for an exciting 6-month internship. More specifically, we are looking for students with:
- Strong design and CAD skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and solid 2D and 3D rendering abilities (please specify your experience with each software in your application)
- Ability to work well in international teams
- Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus
- Authorised to work in the Netherlands (through being an EU citizen, having a Dutch student permit, working holiday permit or Erasmus+)
- Enrolled as a student for the entire duration of the internship (proof required)
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with concept development and design proposals
- Producing drawings, diagrams, and 3D models
- Creating visuals and presentation materials for competitions and clients
- Joining team meetings and design critiques
- Researching materials, site conditions, and architectural references
